What to Wear: Comfortable Clothes with Sturdy Shoes

What to Expect: Kaali Chhamb is an easy trek. Anyone can get on with it. But if you attempt for the trek of Kandi Hills, be ready for the difficulty level to go up to moderate.

What to Carry:

  • An extra pair of comfortable clothes
  • Small Towel
  • Camera (obviously!)
  • Batteries and Memory Cards
  • Sleeping Bag (if you plan to spend the night out on the trails)
  • A Reusable Water Bottle (holding at least a litre of water)
  • Walking Stick
  • Hat, Sunglasses and Sunscreen
  • Snacks
  • Flashlight
  • Hand Sanitizer Gel and Soap
  • First Aid Kit
  • Medicine Box
  • Toilet Paper

Dos and Don’ts:

  • Check the Weather
  • Research well and choose a trail which suits your physical capability
  • Wear shoes which have Good Support and are in Good Condition
  • Don’t trek alone and if you do, tell someone the trail you are going to take and an estimated time of return
  • Carry a compass or a GPS
  • Be environment sensitive
