Bird Watching

What to Wear: Wear comfortable clothing in earth toned colors, any of the colours that can be a camouflage, while avoiding anything bright or shiny. Your clothes should be chosen keeping in mind that you would be required to remain still for hours.

What to Carry:

  • Binoculars
  • Camera (refrain from using the flash)
  • Notebook (to note down the shape, size and other details of various kinds of birds)
  • Smartphone or a small speaker for calling birds
  • Bird Feeders

Dos and Don’ts:

  • Refrain from swaying away from the designated trails, getting too close may cause them to feel danger
  • Enjoy the view of every bird you come across, even if they are not the rare ones
  • Try to be as calm and quiet as possible
  • Beware of serpents
  • Feed birds with caution
